Appearance: Of German decent, Jeremy couldn't stand out more in the Middle East. Sometimes he curses his blonde hair and blue eyes. He's found that it's hard to get the real story when everyone in the neighborhood is watching him walk down the street. However, at first glance, he doesn't exactly look American, which he's found has its upsides. 

Political Slant: Similar to Michael O'Rourke, Jeremy is not rooted in any one camp. On account of occupational hazards, he tends to favor rebel forces over those of the regime--seeing as "the rebels" are usually more prone to telling their story and less prone to killing him. But it really all depends on the context. He has not participated in an American presidential election since he voted for Michael Dukakis in 1988.
