Appearance: Always among the prettiest girls in school growing up, Zaheen wears a dark pants suit and lets her hair flow freely off her shoulders. Political Slant: One of the more progressive Sunni women in Syria, Zaheen has her masters in Philosophy from Damascus University. While aware of the internal problems apparent in her country, she has plans to eventually leave the Middle East and teach Arabic abroad.
