DAY 237 - NOVEMBER 13, 2011
The soldiers look at you with hard, deadly eyes. You can see the frustration and fury in their faces, the outcome of many sleepless nights. You sense that they have killed and that the practice no longer phases them. If they had any shred of doubt in what they were doing they would have abandoned their positions and joined the FSA.
They grab you by the arm and move you to your feet while keeping the gun aimed at your head.
They tell you that you will be coming with them. They tell you that you are right, your husband is a commander in the FSA in Deir Ez Zor. They tell you they need you to lure your husband out of hiding. They tell you that they will be taking your children as well.
